Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) are licensed by the State of Florida to provide personal care and services to qualified residents. These services include assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, medication management, three meals a day, and an activity program. The ALF resident does not require twenty-four hour nursing care as provided in a nursing home.
