Owned by Indian River Memorial Hospital, the Cancer Center is located in a separated building on the south side of the IRMH campus. The IRMH cancer program is one of 45 in Florida approved by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, signifying that it has coordinated the appropriate personnel and resources to offer optimal care to cancer patients. The regional cancer center is the only facility in the county that offers radiation therapy, and has recently expanded to include a second linear accelerator. State-of-the art equipment and technology is used.
