HEALTHSOUTH Treasure Coast Rehabilitation Hospital is a 90-bed facility, providing comprehensive physical medicine rehabilitation services. It is the only acute rehabilitation hospital in the Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin county area. HEALTHSOUTH patients receive excellent nursing care in addition to high quality physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapy designed to optimize their daily lives. It is licensed by the State of Florida and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Specialties include stroke, hip and knee replacement and other orthopedic problems, cardio-pulmonary problems, arthritis, head injury, spinal cord injury, chronic pain, amputations, coma and burns. Outpatient services in all therapies are provided, including psychology, vocational and work hardening rehabilitation.

Tours of the facility are provided to the public and encouraged for family members of patients prior to admission.
