Founded in 1991 by a group of local physicians, HEATHSOUTH Indian River Surgery Center is now owned by HEALTHSOUTH Corporation. HEALTHSOUTH currently operates over 1,300 surgical and rehabilitation facilities in all 50 states.

Facilities include: four state-of-the-art surgical theatres and two dedicated endoscopy suites for gastroenterology and pulmonary medicine. Specialized innovations include full-spectrum fluoroscopy, as well as KTP-YAG laser and laser lithrotripsy.
