Middle Schools
The Middle School Model, with interdisciplinary teams of teachers and students, is in place. In addition to academics the schools support many team sports and organizations. School is in session from 8:15 a.m. to 2:43 p.m.

The middle schools in Indian River County concentrate on student preparedness for entry into the high school system. They offer a varied cirriculum of language arts, reading, mathematics, science and social studies. Basic skills and higher order thinking skills are essential components in all courses.
